Strategic expansion of Assenagon's sales team

Assenagon continues to expand its institutional sales team. Nadia Bucci is a Director at Assenagon since 1 May 2024. In her role, she will focus on institutional clients in Southern Europe, particularly Spain and Italy. She works from the Frankfurt office and reports directly to Matthias Kunze, Head of Distribution and member of the management team at Assenagon.

“We are very pleased to welcome Nadia Bucci to our team. She has built an excellent network over the past few years and we are convinced that she will create and expand targeted customer support on site,” says Matthias Kunze.

With 20 years of experience in financial services, Pucci is a seasoned asset management expert. Her career took her across London to Madrid and Frankfurt. Before Assenagon, she worked at Aegon Asset Management for 10 years, most recently as Head of Italy. She speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish and holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management from Bocconi University in Milan, in addition to IMC, CAIA and CESGA qualifications.

“We have approved the first two funds for distribution in Spain in 2023, and more funds will follow this year. With Nadia Pucci, we have for the first time someone in the sales team fully focused on the Southern European markets – a strategic move,” adds Matthias Kunze. “It is part of of our growth strategy.
