Along with Astro Bot, LEGO Horizon Adventures was one of the big surprises of the Summer Games Festival. Some media representatives had the opportunity to try out the game and first impressions were more than positive.
The Lego-style world of Horizon
Testers were able to play the game in co-op mode and liked the graphics, animation, and gameplay. LEGO Horizon Adventures is said to feel like a “Lego movie” and the characters and world of Horizon Zero Dawn are perfectly executed in the Lego style.
Gameplay and combat system
The “fluid” and “engaging” animation was particularly praised. The combat system has been described as easy to learn but challenging.
Lots of variety
The game can be played in single-player and cooperative modes. Players can outfit Aloy with different outfits and even change buildings in the game world. The original voice actors from the Horizon games are back.
