Jan Aurel Pesek is about to take a big step in his career: he will become the captain of the German national under-21 team intermilan exchange. The Champions League champions put seven million euros on the table for Besek.
Yann Aurel Biseck is currently leading Germany’s under-21 selection as captain at the European Championships. The 22-year-old in-house defender has used the stage firsthand and has recommended himself to the absolute elite: according to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are on the verge of transferring Pesek.
Bisseck switched from 1. FC Köln to Aarhus GF last year after a one-year loan. Inter are now withdrawing their seven million euro exit clause, which is firmly embedded in the contract for the German defensive talent. According to media reports, Inter will pay the fee to Aarhus in two instalments.
Pesek should be seen as a visible commitment at Inter and not as a direct replacement for Milan Skriniar (moving to PSG). According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter’s plans to sign Cesar Azpilicueta remain despite Pesek’s transfer.
Pesek’s transfer should only be officially announced after the European Under-21 Championship.
