He is one of the most famous footballers in the world. Megan Rapinoe has now announced that she will end her career as a professional American football player after this season.
At the last World Cup in France, Robinho was the top scorer and Man of the Tournament. Away from the square, he attracted attention through political statements. Among other things, he announced that he did not want to go to the “White House” even if he won the World Cup to honor then US President Donald Trump. Trump is a sexist and a racist, she said.
Rapinoe plays for Seattle-area club OL Reign in the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States. But he celebrated his greatest victories with the American team.
