American star Megan Rapinoe is retiring from professional soccer after this season. It is with “deep peace and gratitude” that he has decided this season will be his last, the 38-year-old said on social media on Saturday. At the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand (July 20 to August 20), Rapinoe will become the third consecutive world champion with the US selection after 2015 and 2019.
