“Handcrafts create beautiful things, they are regional and sustainable” – this statement is hardly truer than Hand.Werk.Haus Salzkammergut in Bad Goisern, where around 30 master craftsmen impressively present themselves.

The meeting began with an exclusive tour of the exhibition with historian Maja Barbara Kern, who has passionately cared for the Hand.Werk.Haus association since its founding. The entrepreneurs then had the opportunity to work as craftsmen themselves. With the main florist Irmgard JamsjagerNature’s Workshop, the goal was to create winter decor and with Michael Corner, MedienAtelier, for a folder with high quality binding materials using bookbinding equipment. Participants also used the workshops to exchange ideas and network. The opportunity to go “late night shopping” at the Hand.Werk.Haus store, where one or two of the items found a happy new owner, was particularly enjoyable.
