The Meteorological Department has issued a special report on rain and thunderstorms that will affect the northern region of Chaco. Extreme weather events cannot be ruled out.
Weather experts in the northern part of Chaco warned Sunday afternoon of “rain with moderate thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail at times.”
The departments concerned will be Alto Paraguay Boquerón. “Thunderstorm cores are still lingering over the north of the country, so severe weather events can not be ruled out in the timely supply zone in the remaining hours of the afternoon and early Sunday evening,” the meteorological department says.
In the rest of the country there may be showers or heavy rain every now and then and it will also be hot through the middle of the week.
