WhatsApp has announced that it will be swapping the keyboard in the near future. Here’s what users can expect soon.
WhatsApp has released a new update in the Google Play Beta Program, which updates the version to 2.23.12.13. What’s new in this update? WhatsApp introduces a redesigned keyboard and community settings.
It’s been known for a few weeks that a newly designed keyboard is in development. Various interface elements have been redesigned and repositioned to allow users to swipe up on the keyboard and view the emoji list in full screen.

However, this is not the only new feature in this update. Some users may be able to access a new section called Community Settings that allows community admins to decide who can add groups to the community.
This new feature is still under development but it will be available sooner or later with an update of the WhatsApp Android app.
