At the end of the day, it’s not your purse which gives satisfaction, it’s the good deeds you do. In this world of selfishness, there are still few people who are striving hard to give a good life to others. Meet Mr Ravi Sree Paripally, a rare good Samaritan of these days.
Born in a poor family, Ravi Sree Paripally couldn’t afford for higher education after tenth class. His mother mortgaged her anklets for his primary education. He didn’t want to trouble them and at the same time, wanted to get educated. So, he joined in a government junior college as a paper boy and started earning. Even though it was just Rs.150, it’s the happiness in hard earned money that drove him forward.
After passing the graduation with flying colors, Ravi Sree joined in a Kindergarten as a teacher and went on to become a high school teacher, English HOD, Examination in charge, Academic in charge and Principal within just a few years. For his teaching skills, he was even awarded as best teacher for five times.
But, he still has this bug inside which asks him to do something for the poor kids who can not afford the education, which made him start a foundation with the name NENU SAITHAM. Under this foundation, Ravi adopted as many students as he can and started providing the best education to the poor but brilliant students. Conducting many awareness programs on the importance of being educated, he distributes notebooks, bags, stationery items. There is a children festival he conducts every year with the name ‘Nenu Saitham Children Festival’ giving the best platform for children to expose their hidden skills. A Whopping 11,000 students participated in 2016-17 children festival held at Armoor, Nizamabad and Telangana’s revered professor, Mr Kodandaram was the chief guest.
Ravi is also very keen on raising the awareness and importance of anti caste system, corruption, swatch politics, health tips by making short films. His film ‘Karunya Hatya’ was even appreciated by eminent personality Dr.Jayaprakash Narayan, Founder of Loksatta party. Ravi is not just confined to words. Demonstrating the anti caste, anti religion importance, he was married to a Muslim girl. After getting all the laurels, his financial status is still zero. Even when he doesn’t have a car or house, he finds all his happiness in serving the poor and the needy. After all the work he has been doing, Ravi says that he doesn’t feel like he is doing a great deed. It’s just his satisfaction that drives him forward.
Well, people who help others are a rare find nowadays. All we can do is to help them or join hands with them so that, they will still have the faith in the humanity. Take a bow Mr Ravi Sree. This society needs more people like you.
