9T Labs opens first US office

9T Labs, a specialist in mass production of digital, automated and low-cost continuous fiber components, will open its first office in Boston after its official merger with the United States last month.

Advanced fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite components (CFRTP) were used to make 9T Labs’ innovative Red Series additive fusion solution platform.

9T Labs’ first location in the United States will provide an opportunity for new thinkers and innovators in the field of structural composite to learn about and experience unique developments in Swiss joint venture production. The following staff will travel to Zurich to work with technology at 9T Labs headquarters, where the first members of the US team will be signed in the coming weeks.

John Hartner, President of 9T Labs, Former CEO of ExOne (Pittsburgh,) PAUSA), an experienced manager with over 30 years of experience in the automation, semiconductor, clean tech and 3D printing industries.

Hartner, based in the US, said after the Series A financial round, “I was impressed with the company’s unique solution and look forward to supporting the team in bringing this technology to manufacturing companies around the world.”
