With the SuperNova G7 Series, EVGA is launching new power sources. Developed as integrated ATX power supplies, which have a load indicator on the side as a special feature.
With this five-level display, you can see at a glance how much power is currently being used in a suitable computer case. Each LED strip on the screen represents a 20 percent range. Within the series there are four models with a power of 650, 750, 850 and about 1000 watts. All engineered to achieve 80 PLUS Gold efficiency. According to EVGA, only durable Japanese capacitors are used. EVGA gives a ten year warranty.
Power supplies are cooled by a 120mm fan with FDB bearing. The fan starts at 50 percent load. Underneath it, SuperNova G7 power supplies should run silently. All models measure 85 (H) x 150 (W) x 130 mm (L). The cables are fully modular. Connections vary by performance class. The powerful SuperNOVA 1000 G7 can provide, among other things, eight 6 + 2-pin PCIe graphics card connectors and twelve S-ATA connectors.
Prices are already shown on the US EVGA website. Accordingly, the SuperNova G7 power supply will cost between $159.99 and $239.99, depending on the model.
