Seven days after migrants were rescued from the Mediterranean Sea off the Libyan coast, the Humanity 1 ship of the German NGO SOS Humanity has arrived in the port of Bari. The authorities had given permission shortly before. According to the authorities, there were 93 children and 43 women, including a pregnant woman, in addition to the crew.
Caritas welcomes migrants with “open arms”

After a medical examination, people should be distributed to other Italian regions. They will be taken to Calabria, Piedmont and Lyceum, among other places. Unaccompanied minors must remain in Puglia for the time being.
More immigrants landed in Salerno
Three children under the age of one are said to be among the people rescued from the sea. The migrants were also tested for Covid-19 after arriving in Bari. On Sunday, another 248 migrants disembarked in the port of Salerno, south of Naples.
