Apple started distributing an update for AirPods tonight. The update will be available for almost all AirPods models. AirPods 2 that AirPods 3AirPods Pro and AirPods Max will receive the update. the new Programming It has the version number 4C165. AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro version 4A400 have been used so far. The version numbered 4A402 was previously on the AirPods Pro, and the new AirPods 3 that were recently introduced for the program with the number 4B66 have been used so far.
AirPods install new updates automatically
Apple doesn’t follow a standard method by which AirPods can be updated. The company only writes that AirPods will download and install a new software update available if AirPods are in the box and with Iphone connected. Apple also does not explain the nature of the changes or improvements made with the update.
It can be assumed that Apple would like to get rid of any remaining bugs and issues and hopefully not introduce any new ones. You can see the status of your AirPods software in the information dialog of the corresponding AirPods, which you can find in Settings > Bluetooth, so the AirPods must be connected to the iPhone.
