BVB travels to America: Many Dortmund experts are surprisingly absent

BVB began their US tour on Monday (July 24). A total of 30 players flew to America. However, many actors are missing.

Dortmund/San Diego – Borussia Dortmund will skip a classic training camp ahead of the upcoming 2023/2024 season, instead embarking on a marketing tour in the United States. The Spaniard missed Borussia’s friendly win at RW Erfurt on Saturday (July 22) with a muscle strain. According to the club, he is completing a personal project in Dortmund.

Julian Rijkhoff wasn’t even on the plane. The youngster has been training with the pros for the past few weeks and has been given playing time in friendlies.

Third in the group is Soumaila Coulibaly. Like Mathieu Morey, he also complains of muscular problems and is therefore working out separately at Dortmund. However, with him it is clear: he must be sold this summer.

BVB travel to America: Tests against San Diego, Manchester United and Chelsea FC to come

As part of the trip, Borussia Dortmund will first stop in San Diego. There Tercik-Elf completed the first of three friendlies in the US on Thursday night (July 27). 4.30am German time against Championship club San Diego Loyal.
