Economy – the starting signal for the Center for Vacuum Efficiency in Korneuburg

With an investment of €2.5 million, Busch Austria GmbH – a specialist in vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors – is expanding its location in Korneuburg. Austria’s first vacuum efficiency center was set up at the company’s headquarters. In the new building, Busch and Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria GmbH will design, manufacture and offer vacuum solutions to Austrian customers.

For this purpose, Pfeiffer Vaccum Austria GmbH – distributor of turbo-molecular pumps and gas analyzers – formerly based in Vienna, moves to Korneauburg with 20 employees. “We will then have 60 employees co-located,” Busch Austria managing director Karl Plumel told the Lower Austrian business press agency. For the expansion of the building, which will be carried out by the local construction company Betriebsbau Schuster, Busch Austria has acquired another 1,000 square meters of building space in addition to the company’s existing premises of 2,800 square meters.

“The creation of Austria’s first vacuum efficiency center is a great sign of our city’s progress. Mayor Christian Jepp emphasized in his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony.
