The attacking man still currently plays for Serie A club Salernitana in southern Italy. He last played with the Austrian team Flavius Danieliuk in mid-August in the league match against Roma when he left injured before the final whistle.
However, Ribery should not end up at Salerno. According to reports, the winger could be given a role at the club. Last season he saved himself with Salernitana a few laps before the end of the season to 17th place in the Italian league table and thus avoided relegation to the second division. Previously, they were in the relegation zone for months and even threatened to be relegated due to the initially unsuccessful search for a new club owner.
Twelve years at Bayern Munich
Ribery played for Bayern Munich for the longest period from 2007 to 2019 before moving to Italy and initially to Fiorentina.
