According to CNN, her father, Joseph Petito, praised his daughter in Holbrook, Long Island. “I want you to be inspired by KP.” The body of a 22-year-old man was found in Wyoming a week ago.
After the autopsy, investigators consider it a homicide. Traces of her boyfriend are now gone – her parents said last week that she was missing. The Gabby Petito case has attracted worldwide attention in the United States. Petito and her 23-year-old boyfriend took a trip through the United States that summer, they documented on social media. Petito’s boyfriend eventually returned from a trip without his girlfriend.
Joseph Petito continued in his speech: “If you have a journey you want to go on, take it now. Do it now when you have the time. If you are in a bad relationship, leave her now.” He openly mentions his daughter’s relationship with her boyfriend. Authorities have been searching for the 23-year-old for more than a week. An arrest warrant has been issued against him. Joseph Petito thanked him for his support: “The whole planet now knows this woman’s name.”
According to CNN, the funeral service was broadcast live on the funeral website. The altar in the building was decorated with pictures of Pettito. Citizens waited in long queues to pay their respects to Coffee Petito. Signs written “forever in our hearts”.
