Several people were killed in attacks by Russian soldiers on western Ukraine. Russian soldiers fired a missile at a residential area in the city of Zolotchev, Lviv region. The missile attack caused a fire to break out in the residential area, killing at least 5 people. Russian soldiers also fired missiles at a nuclear power plant in the city of Zaporizhia. Electricity is generated at a nuclear power plant. Because of the missile attack, the nuclear power plant is currently not connected to the power grid. The nuclear power plant is supplied with emergency diesel generators. A diesel generator that temporarily generates electricity using diesel fuel.
Vienna greatly increases the number of cyclists turning right at red traffic lights. Until now, cyclists could turn right at 10 red traffic lights. In the future, cyclists will be able to turn right at an additional 150 traffic lights when they turn red.
In Vienna and all Austrian state capitals, there were more than 20 million overnight stays by vacationers in 2022. This is twice the number of nights spent by vacationers in the rest of Austria.
