The Stardew Valley developer has finally published a full list of new content for update 1.6

Mayor Lewis doesn’t seem all that impressed with the long list, but we sure are.

Many Stardew Valley fans may have been relieved when creator Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone announced that there would be new content for the popular farming simulator. He had previously rejected this.

But what exactly will happen in the long-awaited 1.6 update has so far been just speculation. Now the developer has shared a full list of the big and small things that lie ahead.

There’s a lot packed into Stardew Valley update 1.6

Regarding the upcoming content, there has been a lot of mystery. For example, the developer has already shared the word “Iridium Sense”, which has really impressed fans, after all, this level of optimization of the gadget has never existed before.

There has also been speculation as to whether there are other uses as well as a new level of enhancement and from the list shared by Concerned Ape, it certainly seems so. On X (formerly Twitter) the developer posts:

The update will be a real comprehensive hit and won’t just consist of a few small items, as many people initially feared. Of course, the upcoming festivals are particularly exciting. However, the developer has not yet revealed what exactly awaits us with these devices.

But of course we might also be curious to see how the NPCs and their dialogue will change. The fact that something is happening and our daily tasks seem to be expanding can be a good motivation to keep working until the new festival or even to start a new game. The resourceful community will not rest until all new secrets are discovered.
