The youth of Red Bull Salzburg are in the youth league before the final step towards the Final Four in Lyon.

Coach Rene Aufhauser’s team meets Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals on Wednesday (2 pm) in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

In the event of a win, the Young Bulls have a chance to win the title again after 2017. As in the round of 16 when they defeated Zelina on penalties, the decision was made in one match.

The anticipation is high at Aufhauser. “The players have been rewarded for their performance and commitment. The fact that we are among the best teams in Europe is an important success for the club and the entire academy.” Now entering the fourth final is the “obvious goal”, the former ÖFB player confirmed.

Aufhauser showed his respect for PSG. “Paris has very good individual players who know how to combine in the smallest of spaces. They often look for individual players and they are definitely one of the strongest teams left in the competition.”

However, the French are missing two key players: Dutch youth team player Xavi Simmons, who departed from La Masia Barcelona in 2019, and France Under-17 team striker Wilson Audubert, both of whom are suspended due to suspension.
