Kensington Palace released a photo on Charlotte’s birthday May 2. Kate, 41, said the house was taken last weekend in Windsor. The little princess can be seen in a white floral dress on a wicker chair, beaming with her mom.
Charlotte is currently third in line to the British throne – after her father, Prince William, 40, and her brother George, 9. Avid hobby photographer Kate – who now has the official title Princess of Wales – has often posted pictures of herself for her children’s birthdays in recent years.
Shortly after her birthday, Charlotte and her two brothers, George and Louis, 5, will have a special date coming up: their grandfather, King Charles III, will be born over the weekend. After their official coronation, the children of the heir to the throne, William, 40, and Kate are said to take part in the official procession. She is also expected to be on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where spectators will celebrate the royal family on Saturday.
