Live True Harry Nulz and Marc Ribots Ceramic Dog plus Beethoven Project samples from Angelika Niescier
After the Jazz Festival, Saalfelden can only be held as a “weekend” reduced due to the pandemic, in 2021 the 41st edition of the Central European Classic Festival will take place in different stages with a full program. As it has done for many years, Ö1 records all concerts on the main stage of the Saalfelden Congress and broadcasts live today, Saturday, the Austrian-Swiss hexa-shows The True Harry Nulz and the Trio Ceramic Dog by Marc Ribot.
There are also samples from yesterday’s Friday to listen to: Angelica Nessier, one of the most famous German jazz saxophonists, opened the main program of the Saalfelden Jazz Festival at the Saalfelden Congress. On the project “re:BTVHN” she provided music for last year’s guardian Ludwig van Beethoven – with special creative treatment, of course: Angelika Niescier uses Beethoven’s string quartets as a springboard for adventurous improvisational excursions into her musical world.
