Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Play the current Season 5 for free for a week!

Haven’t gotten to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 yet? Then you can temporarily try the current part of the shooting series for free – including the fifth season.

Anyone who has avoided Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 until now can take another look at the multiplayer mode safely and at no cost – for example, to prepare for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 next November in preparation. Activision has once again launched free multiplayer access.

The action phase has already begun and will continue until September 20, 2023. Until then, you can play Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer mode for free and even try out the latest maps from the current Season 5. Naturally, the “Mayhem” party mode is also included.

The bottom line is that you can experience a variety of content with free access – from classic menus like Shipment 24/7 to new maps or modes like DRC – Zone 1 or the aforementioned Chaos.

The new standard cards for Season 5 are:

  • Democratic Republic of the Congo – Region 1: The latest multiplayer map released in Season 5, Democratic Republic of the Congo – Region 1, brings operators to a cutting-edge defense research center.

  • Puntar Mar: Head to the beach on this nautical map, with blue skies and stunning views.

  • He hits: Danger lurks around every corner as operators challenge Urzikstan’s urban landscape.

By the way, there is a good reason to get into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 now, even if the new part is already around the corner: for the first time in the history of the franchise, content from Modern Warfare 2 can be ported to the new Modern Warfare 3.

Free multiplayer access ends on September 20 at 7:00 PM German time.
