Lasberg. The new country thriller “Zu neu Ufern” will be shown on July 13 at the Summer Cinema in Braunberg.
Summer cinema in Braunberg begins on Wednesday, July 13th. The selected films will be shown against a fantastic backdrop on five Wednesdays through August 10. First-rate guests have also been announced: directors Robert Schapus and Adrian Geiginger are guests at the start and end of Brownberg’s season with their films “Alpenland” and “Marzingrund” – both also inviting you to Film Walking Day, a shaded 1.5-hour stroll with an interested audience from St. Oswald to Braunberghütte. With its great shots of Alpine landscapes, the films also make a perfect slice of summer cinema at the Alpine Club cottage.
To new shores
The premiere of the new top Austrian country thriller “Zu neu Ufern” draws cinema guests to Braunberg on July 13: Maria Hofstadter, just recipient of the Austrian Film Prize, visits Braunberg with parts of the film crew to present the film. In addition, the two hit films “Mr. Claude and His Big Party” (July 27) and “Rutzpop” (August 3) will be screened.
The summer cinema in Braunberg is also a worthwhile destination for those interested in astronomy: on July 20 and 27, as well as on August 3, Franz Hofstadler of the Mühlviertel Astronomical Association invites you to watch the stars again. When the weather is clear, it shows the most interesting constellations and celestial phenomena in the summer night sky after the movies with a telescope and laser pointer.
Head of local theater and cinema chief Wolfgang Steininger is looking forward to the summer cinema season and collaboration with the new cottage hosts: “Together we want to continue the many beautiful Braunberg evenings of the past few years.
