Wounded and millions in damages
The wedding turns to hell

At the headquarters of a tire dealer, a wedding party wants to celebrate the most beautiful day of their lives – with DJ Ötzi and fireworks. But the evening ended in hell. Nearly 400 firefighters from four areas are on duty, and five people were injured.

Five people were slightly injured in a major fire at the building of a tire dealer in Gämmertingen in Baden-Württemberg. “It is not yet possible to determine the exact extent of the damage, but it is estimated at several million euros,” the police said.

According to a spokesperson, investigators are investigating whether wedding fireworks are related to Hell. As reported by the online newspaper “Schwäbische Zeitung”, the owner of the company celebrated his wedding on Saturday evening.

The singer DJ Ötzi also sang there. At about 11:30 pm, the first reports of a fire broke out at the company’s headquarters. A spokesman for the Sigmaringen District Firefighters’ Union said 380 firefighters from four provinces had been deployed to the top.

Burning tires, parts of warehouses, vehicles and gas bottles were set ablaze. Four of the injured were taken to hospital on suspicion of smoke inhalation. Another person was injured in the fall.
