Jennifer Lopez performs at Global Citizen Festival

The star-studded ‘Global Citizen’ festival on September 25th continues to grow. Latin star Jennifer Lopez (52) will appear on stage in New York’s Central Park, organizers announced Monday. Lopez wrote on Instagram. In the past few weeks, international superstars such as Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Shawn Mendes, Usher and boy band BTS have already been announced.

The event takes place in several cities including New York, Paris, London, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. A 24-hour show is created with concerts and political contributions. The festival reinforces a greater commitment to fighting poverty and disease and is committed to protecting the climate and the environment.

Lopez was also at Global Citizen’s “Vax Live” party in May to support the global vaccination campaign against Covid-19. At that time she was performing at a stadium in Los Angeles. The “Let’s get loud” singer and actress recently celebrated her 52nd birthday on a yacht with Oscar winner Ben Affleck, posting a snap to Instagram where they kissed deeply.
