Collaboration platform for nature learning, education and training in forest learning celebrates its 10th anniversary with discounted campaigns on selected shows
Tollnerbach, January 31, 2023: For 10 years now, the Natural Learning team around forest teacher Irene Opitzfer and learning coach Doris Lackner have been supporting kindergarten and
School groups on nature learning trips and forestry education.
In addition to imparting knowledge of nature in an age-appropriate manner, the two are primarily interested in enjoying nature and the experiences and discoveries that children make on their travels. The forest in particular is an excellent natural learning space that they know how to use. “We want to support children in their natural desire to explore and to accustom them to the processes and connections in nature. This way we can create an awareness of nature’s treasures,” says Irene Opitzover.
“Nature offers so many opportunities, for example in the linguistic, mathematical and creative fields, that our excursions can also be fully integrated into the lesson,” says Doris Lackner, who particularly enjoys making mathematics comprehensible through nature. The offer of the collaboration platform, made up of colleagues and partners from the Wienerwald region, ranges from forest and nature pedagogy for children to learning training and children’s yoga to team-building and paper-making workshops as well as further training for teachers.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, there are discounts on selected offers which can be found at www.natuerlich-lernen.at.
