The actress spoke frankly about the difficulties that her husband faced in making his name professionally. Beckham’s son initially hoped to become a professional footballer like his father David. However, he was left out of Arsenal’s youth team before he turned 16.

Beckham later tried to establish himself as a fashion photographer and also managed to get jobs as a model himself. But as his wife claims, he “felt a lot of pressure to please people with his career and didn’t like it”.

Nicola Peltz: Her career is not taking off

After she fell in love with acting at school, she told her parents that she wanted to study acting. It didn’t work out for Peltz, who played her first role in “Blackbeard,” just yet. The 27-year-old also appeared in Transformers: Age of Extinction and the horror series Bates Motel. So far, however, there have been no major roles. Peltz admitted that she still loves acting, but she also struggles with regular rejections. However, it will continue.

“I’ve heard ‘no’ a million times,” she said. “At a young age, I built such a wall of failure that I became some kind of robot where he was like, ‘Okay, it’s no go ahead! “It’s not easy, but you have to wish the best for the other person who gets the role. I always feel that what should be yours comes to you.”
