STABAT MATER On Maundy Thursday

Klosterneuburg. On Maundy Thursday, April 6th, 2022, at 7.30 pm in the Evangelical Church in Klosterneuburg, the already traditional Stabat Mater will take place with the ENSEMBLE NEUE STREICHER. This time, after a break due to the pandemic, the rarely performed STABAT MATER by Alessandro Scarlatti is on the program in a new series version by Johannes Holek. With CHRISTINA TSCHERNITZ (soprano) and ANGELA RIEFENTHALER (alto), there are again two fantastic soloists available, the conductor being Antanina Kalischits. This time the bassoon soloist and conductor Milan Turkovic could be won for considerations.
