Olaf Scholz does not want to provide Kiev with long-range cruise missiles because German soldiers would then have to assist on the site. Experts disagree. An intercepted Luftwaffe chat also speaks against this.
Heylaf Scholz does not want to supply Ukraine with the Taurus cruise missile. He tried to explain his reasons earlier this week, but now a wiretapped phone conversation between Luftwaffe chief Lieutenant-General Ingo Gerharz and experts from the German military has emerged that appears to invalidate his arguments. Experts from international think tanks also shake their heads.
