Time and time again, it has been suggested that Zac Efron would not want to go back to his roots. While other actors in popular movies often expressed interest in another part, Efron stayed away from the tenth reunion Disney was teasing. In it, the lead actors talked about their memories of filming and the phenomenon that became “High School Musical” on a TV special. The “Baywatch” star appeared only in a short video message.
As Zac Efron announced in an interview, he will now be ready to slip into the role of singer-songwriter Troy Bolton once again. A video of his statement is currently going viral on social media. In it, the 34-year-old was asked if he was interested in a fourth part of musicals.
With his answer, Zac Efron became visibly nostalgic. To the delight of many fans, he replied, “Of course. Seriously, it would be very nice to have the opportunity to come back in any way and work with this team.” As if that weren’t enough, he continues, “Yeah, my heart is still there, so this is going to be an incredible thing, and I hope it happens.” Concrete plans on the part of Disney are not yet known.
