While you hardly hear anything from “Starmania 21” winner Anna Buchiger from Salzburg, Vince Stefan Einer, winner of “Starmania 22” on ORF at the beginning of May, is about to start his career in earnest. Before the casting show he sang in a karaoke bar, now he has a contract with Sony Music with one of the biggest music labels. It will begin with two releases on June 10: a cover version of the James Bond song “The Writing on the Wall” and Stefan’s self-written number “Es End is no fern” in old-school Austropop style. He’s working on his new titles with Thomas Rabitsch and other producers.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old is still touring Austria with fellow Starmania (such as Judith Lisa Bogoch, Daniel Fink, Martin Fortliner, Marco Spiegel, Sebastian Holzer and Lukas Meusberger), and the next date is June 17. at the Orpheum in Graz; On June 19, the rising talents will perform at the Museumsquartier in Vienna. review:
