Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, have officially separated after ten years of separation, American media reports. The divorce had previously been settled by a special judge.
As reported by celebrity portal TMZ and Fox News, a Los Angeles judge officially blessed the divorce on Tuesday. According to “TMZ”, the divorce process took a long time, among other things, due to the complex division of assets. In addition, the separated spouses simply lacked the “incentive” to pursue a divorce. After the separation, both of them entered into new relationships and at the same time maintained a friendly relationship.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver married in 1986
Shriver filed for divorce in 2011, a few months after Schwarzenegger’s term as governor of California ended. I found out that the “Terminator” actor and former bodybuilder had a son from a maid in 1996.
Schwarzenegger, who immigrated to California from Austria, and journalist Shriver, niece of US President John F. Kennedy, who was murdered in 1963, married in 1986. They have four children together.
