Mariazel. On July 1, 2023, the Mariazell Volunteer Fire Brigade was alerted to an operation on Wiener Straße. The operation was caused by engine oil leaking from the car, and the reason for this was not clear at first. Two emergency vehicles (KRFS and TLFA 3000) with a total of eight emergency services drove to the scene immediately.
In order to avoid environmental damage and reduce the danger to traffic, the fire brigade immediately began to take action. Spilled engine oil was bound together with the help of a special binding agent. Care has been taken to ensure that the binding agent is completely mixed with the spilled oil to ensure optimal absorption. The bound oil is then professionally disposed to ensure environmentally friendly disposal.
