“Glück auf” – a concert on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Zeltweg Factory Band
The special concert will take place on Sunday, November 5 at 5pm in the Zeltweg Hall of the Zeltweg Sports Centre.
In the first part of our program we take you with “Steiger March – Happiness on Steiger Comes” into the world of miners, Saint Barbara and the life of a miner. The Steirerherzen Seegraben Miners’ Association will show us two mining dances. The march “Glück auf – Class of miners with great honor” concludes this thematic part. Tobias Omondum will be on stage as soloist in Thomas Asanger’s “Concertino for Clarinet.”
After a short break we present pieces such as “Olympic Fire”, “Strauss goes to Egerland”, “Auf der Vogelwiese”, “The Greatest Showman” and “The Lion King Medley”. At the end of the concert, the orchestra plays “Glück auf Marsch” by Johann Witchers.
Honorary President DI Heinz Gach leads the program and Herbert Bauer is on the conductor’s podium.
