For the first time since they pulled out of the British royal family, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have appeared together in public in Europe. The couple attended a reception hosted by the city and the Dutch Ministry of Defense ahead of the start of the Invictus Games in The Hague tonight. Harry appeared beaming in a dark suit and Meghan in a white jumpsuit for the cameras.
The Paralympic competition for disabled veterans was scheduled to start tomorrow in the presence of the couple, after two postponements due to the epidemic. The Invictus Games are Harry’s affair, which is very important to him even after his retirement from the British Crown. In the Netherlands, the two will closely accompany the filming team for a Netflix documentary. The couple signed a multi-million dollar deal with the streaming service.
The two had previously stopped without notice in their old homeland and met Queen Elizabeth II, among others. It was the first time the couple had returned to the UK together since leaving the British Crown. According to dpa information, her two youngsters Archie and Lilipet shouldn’t be part of the party.
