Warner Bros. Games owns Nintendo Switch version Delayed again by Hogwarts Legacy. After several release delays, a date of July 25, 2023 was announced, which the developers confirmed today could not be met.

When is Hogwarts Legacy coming to Nintendo Switch? The new release date of the open world game is November 14, 2023 for Nintendo console.

“We know fans are excited to play on Switch, so creating the best experience possible is our top priority,” said the developers. “Thank you for your patience.”

Hogwarts Legacy crosses successfully on other platforms

The title was first released in the Harry Potter universe on February 12, 2023 for Windows PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Recently, on May 5th, Hogwarts Legacy was released for PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version should only come later. After all, the open-world role-playing game managed to sell over 12 million copies in its first two weeks. Warner Bros. announced. Games has already reported over 15 million copies sold for the PS4 and Xbox One version.

What is Hogwarts Legacy about?

At Hogwarts Legacy, you have the chance to explore the famous school from the Harry Potter books and movies. As a player, you can create your own character, improve attributes, and learn different classes and skills as you make your way through the School of Witches and Wizards and the surrounding areas. It is even possible to slap an elf in the face with a club.

Somewhat surprisingly, the developers have already announced that there is no planned DLC for Hogwarts Legacy.

So Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch won’t be released until November 14, 2023. So far, the title has been released for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One.
