On the Edge: Music that makes you sit on the edge of your chair while listening.
The Musikan der Kante is separated by nearly 180 years, each designed for a big band: we introduce each other: Ensemble Café Zimmermann and Stan Kenton Big Band, as well as composers Carl Philip Emanuel Bach and Bob Graettinger.
Both masters moved very consciously at the height of their time, and pushed the boundaries of music in their time into the future. To a future of jagged edges, surprises and abundant energy.
