Lea and Germaine win the “Germany's Next Top Model” award

Lea (24) from Düsseldorf and Germaine (20) from Kassel, Hesse, won the 19th season of the casting show “Germany's Next Top Model”. The two young models managed to impress show boss Heidi Klum (51 years old) in the live finale on Thursday evening through the catwalks and in a photo shoot.

Lea and Germaine won in Cologne against five other candidates who also made it to the final broadcast. In the women's category, Xenia (24) from Hof in Bavaria took second place, and Fabian (21) from Solingen (NRW) came in third place. Linus (25 years old) from Berlin came in second place among men. Twins Julian and Luca (24 years old, Frankfurt am Main) competed as a team and finished third.

It is the first time in the history of ProSieben's production that Klum has chosen a man as her “top model” alongside a woman. The two winners will appear on the cover of the German magazine “Harper's Bazaar” and each will receive a financial prize of 100,000 euros.

Next year's anniversary season was announced Thursday. Klum will then look for Germany's top young models for the 20th time.
