Soon there will be singing and dancing again on stage at the “NÖN Like Greatest Talent” competition. Myriam Catal knows these stages well. The singer with roots from Puchenstuben (her mother grew up there) won the show in 2018.
The 14-year-old girl from Floridsdorf helped her take part in many other shows, such as VAZ St. Pölten or the Danube Island Festival. Her win at the NÖN talent show shouldn’t be her only win. In 2019, Myriam won the “Podium Vienna” music competition and the competition at the Vienna City Festival.
The young artist not only devotes her time to competitions, but also works on her own songs. Her brother writes lyrics for her. And more people behind it. “An amazing team has been put together in recent years: the tag team, the producers, and the video team,” Talent reports. She has already composed 20 songs with her supporters. Nine of these have been published.
Miriam likes to go back to her beginnings: “I was still excited about the first NÖN, but the excitement ended in the shows because every artist got the cheers of the audience.”
What can fans look forward to in the future? Mirjam is currently taking a break from performing and working on new music. The upcoming songs share something special. “I’m in the process of writing my first words myself,” the singer reveals.
