Donauinselfest headliner and rap star RAF Camora visits Salzburg. The 39-year-old opened a tattoo and barber studio in Wolf-Dietrich-Straße on Saturday. This is celebrated: On Friday evening, the Viennese musician invites you to a concert at “City Beats” (Griesgasse, Salzburg).
As reported by Salzburger Nachrichten, organizers are expecting a huge rush of fans. Salzburg police were put on alert, especially on Friday evenings, due to the large-scale operations that recently took place during the rapper’s performances in Vienna and Munich. A police spokeswoman said: “Police will be on site with a sufficient number of forces.”
Many guests expected to attend the opening ceremony
RAF Camora will be present at ‘City Beats’ on Friday evening. “We have maximized our staff,” says club director Konstantin Schmelz. There will be strict entry controls. Contrary to previous media reports, Schmelz told the Salzburg Nachrichten newspaper that the maximum number of guests set by the authorities, which is 1,200, will be adhered to. “Entry starts at 9pm and is for ages 19 and up. We have inquiries from guests from Graz, Munich, Innsbruck and Vienna. That’s why we recommend everyone to come on time.” There will likely be a discontinuation of acceptance after a short period.
On Friday, the rapper opened his second tattoo and barber shop in Austria in the Old Town of Salzburg. “Salzburg is the perfect location for us,” says co-founder Moritz Sageder. “We expect about 500 fans to attend the opening.” Raf Camorra’s first studio opened its doors in Vienna (Nußdorfer Straße, Alsergrund) in December 2020.
