Romero Games: A new first-person shooter in development

Veteran shooter John Romero I’m working on a new game. Announces The indie studio romero games via Twitter. Not many details have been revealed yet, but the new game is supposed to be an original first-person shooter based on the Unreal Engine 5.

For this newly announced project, they are working with a major publisher, but no name was mentioned in the tweet. Because of the chosen game engine, partnered with EpicGames maybe.

The game is still in a very early stage, which is why the studio currently has several vacancies.

Who is John Romero? He is co-founder of development studio id Software and is responsible for shooting classics such as Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake. His work was instrumental in popularizing the entire game genre.

In 2015, he founded Romero Games, which he co-managed with his wife Brenda Romero. Recently, the independent studio released the Empire of Sin business simulation game, which according to Metacritic It was received relatively poorly by critics and players.
