Founded in 1923, ASV has developed over the decades into one of the most traditional sports clubs in the city and in Carinthia. Originally the club consisted of different sections, including football, handball, ice hockey, asphalt shooting and rowing. The home of ASV is the Annabichl Sports Stadium on Ehrenthalerstrasse. ASV attaches great importance to the successful work of youth and integrates talented young players into their combat team. One of the most notable events in the club’s history is the promotion to the Regional League, the third highest league in Austria, after winning the championship title in the Carinthian League in the 2014/2015 season.
