World Premiere – Guaranteed Artistic Fireworks in Baden

World Premiere – Guaranteed Artistic Fireworks in Baden

A special musical gem will be presented on June 3 at the Rose Festival in Doblhoffpark. Because at 9 p.m., the powerful sound of the popular band “Stereoparty” merges with the classic charm of the “Beethoven Philharmonic” orchestra and the stunning voice of the Volksoper star Juliette Khalil to create a concert of the highest level.

Audiences were able to get their first first look at the crossover’s world premiere at the opening ceremony last Thursday in the lobby of Hall B. The creative fire of the musicians, but above all the motivating sound of the sound samples, left no doubt that the great event of the evening at the opening days of Baden Rose should not be missed under any circumstances.

Musical songs flowed in completely new arrangements

Absolute hits such as “Vienna Calling”, “Hotel California”, “Weilst a Herz hast wie a Bergwerk” and classic masterpieces such as the prelude to Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” are pumped into all-new arrangements by world-class music conductor and composer Christoph Huber, which will be presented as a world premiere. The first in Baden. For this artistic challenge, which will also take place in the open air, it must be remembered as an unforgettable experience, not only the musicians’ skills are required, but also high-quality sound technology. The Baden-based company Lautstark-Lichtstark will ensure that you can enjoy the full range of sounds for both classical and electric instruments.

The event’s artistic director, Herbert Fischer, will lead the evening in the usual fashion. Admission to the Baden Rose Festival with all program elements is free.
(In case of bad weather, the Cross Over party will take place on June 1, 2024 in the square in front of the Orangery or in Hall B.)

In any case, tourism director Klaus Lorenz is already looking forward to the concert evening in Baden: “Have you ever heard an opera song accompanied by electric guitar? Or rock with the Philharmonic Orchestra? When the pop / rock formation meets, the stereoparty and the classical orchestra Beethoven Philharmonic and opera singer Juliette Khalil, a wonderful tension pervades the air and guarantees a unique sound!”

Herbert Fischer presented the project and the participants.
