Antonio Banderas and Olivia Colman direct Paddington 3

After two big screen adventures, Bear Paddington returns to the big screen for the third time – once again with an all-star cast. In addition to Academy Award winner Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Rachel Ziegler are new cast members of “Paddington 3,” the producers said Friday (local time) on Twitter and Instagram. Emily Mortimer is played by Sally Hawkins, who played family patriarch Mrs. Brown in the first two episodes (2014 and 2017).

The cute bear Paddington, the popular children’s book character penned by Briton Michael Bond, who has had all sorts of adventures in foreign London, returns to his native Peru in Part III. The Brown family is traveling with them. The story of “Paddington in Peru” goes straight through the rainforest into the high mountains. And Variety reported that filming was set to begin in July. Brett Dougal Wilson makes his feature film debut as a director.

Banderas plays a daring boat captain, and Ziegler embodies his daughter. Coleman plays a nun who runs a teddy bear. In addition to the main cast of the animated bear, stars such as Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and Brendan Gleeson appeared in previous episodes.
