There will be a special guest at this year’s Advent concert by the Ybbsitz Choir on December 16 at 7:30pm at Ybbsitz Parish Church. The Tulln a cappella choir under the direction of Gottfried Zawichowski, together with the Ybbsitz Choir, will perform Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdi’s magnificent eight-part pieces and perform two pieces by Johann Sebastian and Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach with a first-class baroque ensemble. An integral part of the Lower Austria choral system for more than 40 years, the Tulln Choir has devoted itself to cutting-edge literature – particularly that of Johann Sebastian Bach – and can point to performances at the Vienna Musikverein and St. Pöltner Festspielhaus and in Grafenegg. .
