Movie star Michael J Fox Despite his announced withdrawal from Hollywood, the Back to the Future alum could imagine appearing in front of the camera again in a film.
The 62-year-old, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, told the American portal: “I will act if something happens in which I can integrate my experiences and challenges – if I can succeed.” Entertainment tonight.
“If someone offers me a role and I accept it and enjoy it, that's great,” Fox said. Working on his documentary “Still,” which was released last year on the streaming service Apple TV+, was a “big kick” for him.
Fox received a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease in 1991 at the age of 29, and announced it seven years later. In 2020, he announced his desire to retire from acting, due to long work days and hard memorization of his roles, among other things.
Fox explained that over time, priorities in his life changed. “I think my biggest goal was to start a family. We have four wonderful children and that was the most important thing.” His goals also lie in his own foundation, which is committed to Parkinson's disease research.
