The only unfortunate thing was that the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and the Crown Prince were now coming to Thor for an official visit. Without further ado, Joseph, the count’s servant, pretends to be the head of the house at Thor’s Castle – a role he knows how to please.

Evil takes its course when two peasant children from the village, Magda and Hans, pretend to be children of the wrong family. However, the scam seems to be working, and so Romid has to play for better or worse after his return. Above all, the Count’s unsuspecting wife returns home and a state visit turns into chaos.

Michael Fichtner wrote this turbulent comedy of mistaken identity especially on stage at the ruins of Thor Castle. To mark the 20th anniversary of Thaurer Schlossspiele, the Thaur Theater Association is now presenting the world premiere of this play by Thaur, Thaur, Thaur and Thaur.
