Tom Viale, who won the MX2 crown in 2020, won six Grands Prix and finished third in 2021, is now fighting hard for the 2022 title. He will continue to improve this year, but will compete on American soil next year.

Tom Ville:

“We had another strong season this year and the plan was to move up to the MXGP class for 2023, but I felt now was the best time to see if I could do it in Supercross. I have a circuit close to home and a big SX tradition in my family. For 2023 I know it’s a big learning curve to be ready, but I’m excited to see what I can do. We have to be realistic, but at the same time I’ve been able to talk to Robert, Pitt and the guys in America and it’s fantastic that it’s possible as part of Red Bull KTM. This GP The team is like another family to me, so it will be hard to leave, but this is a very exciting new story for me and I can’t wait to move on and start everything.”

Robert Jonas, Head of Motorsports Offroad:

“We fully understand Tom’s desire to continue racing in the 250 class and we want to see how he can further his career in America and especially in Supercross. If he can learn and develop his skills like he did with us in the World Cup, he will be a big surprise. Ian in America And I’m sure Roger’s guidance will help him transition and transition. The team here has taken him on a few Supercross rides and Tom seems to have a natural knack for the sport. It’s the right rider at the right time and with the right amount of experience at the highest level. We wish him the best of luck, and We look forward to seeing what heights he reaches next.

Ian Harrison, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing North America:

“We are looking for a player of Tom’s caliber racing in the US at Red Bull KTM. We have heard a lot of good things about Tom in the race and personally, so we have no doubt that he will be at the top in the US as well. I have spoken to Tom twice in person, and he told me about the races and how he is moving to another country. I was inspired by his descriptions of what it means to reach out.
