Linz. Julius Gibbs, 25, and Julius Zwertmaier, 24, managed to realize a lifelong dream last Saturday at the Danube Island Festival in Vienna. Duo Linz DJ performed in front of about 15,000 people on the Obi/Kronehit stage in perfect weather.
Coverrun has already made a name for themselves by appearing at Linz Tips Arena or Vienna Marx Halle as backing stars like Timmy Trumpet or Steve Aoki and performing in front of several thousand people. This number has now been exceeded. Julius Zwertmaier on the performance “It’s an incredible feeling to have your music played in front of about 15,000 people, we are so grateful to be able to experience such moments.”
Also on stage was Burgenland artist John Bechinger, better known from the TV show “2 Minuten, 2 KMU”, with whom the duo presented their joint art project NFT at the end of the show.
More concerts and new songs
In the coming weeks and months, there are some new song releases and upcoming shows. Among others, people from Linz will appear at the F1 Grand Prix in Spielberg, but also in Italy and Croatia this summer. “We can’t wait to release the best songs we’ve ever produced, and we’re thrilled to be able to travel the world with our music,” Coverrun said.
