What a quick flight of passion: Last October, Gil Overeem, 39, accused hotel staff in Leipzig of insulting him with anti-Semitism. After months of investigation, the singer suddenly entered the dorm: he was said to have only made up the allegations! On March 31, the Leipzig Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against the 39-year-old. He was charged with libel and defamation.

Gil Ofarim has not yet commented on the charges
His lawyer was to receive the indictment on April 11, said Hans Jagnlaff, president of the Leipzig District Court, in an interview with “pictureexplained. But the competent chamber has not yet been able to make a decision on the opening of the main actions.
“Mr. Ofrim has until Monday to comment on the allegations,” Jagnlaff said.
According to Ofrim’s lawyer, Markus Hennig, the singer wanted to stick to his words.
